The NotePager Net Client and the NotePager Net Server must share the same database file (pagegate.mdb) to operate. Therefore the file should be located on your network where both machines have access to the file. Both the NotePager Net Client and the NotePager Net Server must also have full rights to read, write, and change the file contents. The pagegate.mdb file is created by the NotePager Net Server and by default is located in the NotePager Net program directory. If you accept this location while installing NotePager Net, be sure to make the folder a shared network folder to all the NotePager Net Client computers.
