Can I add any of the "other" interfaces to NotePager Net?
Yes, by all means. Any and all interfaces may be added at any time. Additional interfaces available include email, web, commandline/ascii and dialers.

How does the licensing of NotePager Net work, is NotePager Net sold by network users or pager licenses?
NotePager Net is sold by pager licenses or the number of pagers/phones/alpha devices setup in the software. Notepager Net can be used on any size network.

How can I purchase NotePager Net?
Orders for NotePager Net may be placed via secure online ordering, via phone at 781-829-0500 or fax at 781-582-1869. Visa, Mastercard and Discover are all acceptable forms of payment, or prepayment of checks drawn on US banks. (American Express is an accepted payment via our online form). In addition NotePage will ship COD company check within continental United States. Unfortunately, this option is not available for international customers.

If I send the same message to two groups and one person is in both groups, will the individual receive a duplicate messages?
No, the groups are evaluated and only one message is sent to that individual. This is the feature termed intelligent paging.

Is NotePager Net just a network version of NotePager?
No, NotePager Net contains a number of features that are not available in NotePager, including pre-programmed messages, scheduled paging, on-call paging and group messaging.

How many pre-programmed messages are available?
Up to five pre-programmed messages can be programmed by each user (workstation). This can be done by clicking on the right mouse button.

Are the pre-programmed messages the same on all workstations?
Each user at each workstation can customize their own preprogrammed messages.

What is the difference between a personal (local) user list and a network user list?
A personal user list can be created and customized at each individual workstation. A network list is network wide and contains all pagers setup in the software. Users can easily toggle between a local user list and a network list by one simple click of the mouse.

Are multiple paging carriers and terminals supported?
Yes, NotePager Net and PageGate support multiple paging carriers.

Can I import/export from the PageGate paging engine or NotePager Net databases?
Version 2.0 and greater allow for importing and exporting of the database. Earlier versions of PageGate don't have any specific import or export features, but it does use a standard access database. With knowledge of importing and exporting it is not overly complex to accomplish.

Can a numeric pager be paged using NotePager Net?
The newest version of NotePager Net and PageGate incorporate a blind dialer, that allows for numeric paging via touchtones. In addition often numeric pagers can be paged via TAP/IXO please check with your carrier to see if this option is supported.
