What is the ID # or PIN # ?
Sometimes it is the capcode or the phone number, but usually it is an unrelated number. In either case, you must get the "ID" or "PIN" from your paging service provider or paging carrier.

Can a numeric pager be paged using NotePager or NotePager 32 ?
NotePage, Inc. provides this as an option, some carriers however do not.

What is the TAP phone number  or carrier paging terminal?
This is the phone number to call the paging terminal modem. Contact your paging service provider or paging carrier for this number.

How fast of a modem is required ?
A 1200 baud modem or faster will work

Can NotePager be used with pager brands other than Motorola ?
Yes, pager brand is irrelevant.

What is Shareware?
Shareware is software that is freely distributed typically , on a trial basis. If the software is used beyond the trial period (30 days in NotePager's case) you must register it and pay a fee. (NotePager and NotePager 32's fee is $ 10.00) Why pay ? Payment supports software development, allows us to notify you of updates, additional features and products, and allows for technical support. It is also considered software piracy, (which is illegal) to use an unregistered copy beyond the 30 day trial period. NotePager Pro will expire if it is not registered (NotePager Pro's registration fee is $ 30.00).
